Toyota – No Problem!

Amazing the panic sweeping North America over the Toyota recall. I feel like shouting….stop the insanity. Millions of cars sold and from what I heard on the news…12 accidents, perhaps there were more, still take that in context to the number of vehicles. Then Toyota takes the unprecedented step of stopping car sales and shutting-down the factories. WOW they put people ahead of profit. Remember the Pinto and exploding gas tanks…The company involved figured that it was more profitable to pay the legal actions then to fix the problem. There are examples of this year after year. Toyota should be commended. I love my Toyota and will buy another without hesitation.

@idolsword look up facts on there was machanical malfunctioning in toyotas. not trying to get in an argument but since 2002 there have been problems with toyotas accellerating. and there has bene millions of complaints how is that driver error? idk but maybe you are wiling to put you and your friends are risk of dying or real serious injury in an accident from toyota but toyota is not reliable to me and if you really look into youll see they lied and they arent the best.

@autoresearcher except that the NHTSA has concluded there are no problems with the Toyotas in question, it was entirely driver error. The insanity is how stupid most people are……….like yourself.

@anthonyledo idc if they’re fixing my car secretly. as long as there is no outta pocket expense i am ok with it. that is the ultimate reason whyppl want reliable cars so they dont have to pay to get it fixed 20,000 miles later. like it happened to my sebring. total transmition failure.

TOYOTA is over rated shit. They tried covering up the problem, Thats why they got hit with the biggest fine ever by the government. They didn’t do anything but deny there was a problem until the government stepped in. And by the way, I have had the same Ford f150 for almost 4 years and I have never had a single issue with it. It has never been in any shop for repairs. And here is the big one…guess what…. NOT A SINGLE RECALL!!!

Toyota owners never have to goto the dealer because they sit on all their recalls.
Untill it becomes a major issue, i.e. the welds holding the doors failing on the seinnas, the frames snapping on tundras, and now the accelerators sticking.
Many companies may look less reliable when the put out recalls for the littlest things, but at least they are upfront about it and are offering a solution.
All Toyota has offered anyone so far is a bunch of “sorrys” and a metal shiv that does nothing.

same goes for the tacoma/tundra buy back. to the public they said they would extend the warranty to 15 years. toyota soon canceled this when the trucks were coming back before 5. still dangerous rust toyota trucks on our roads. they need to be forced again to buy them back. many owners can not insure their trucks because they cant pass a saftey inspection. they are stuck with a pile of rust they cant sell, and toyota wont buy.

its not rare. they have had the most embarrasing and sever problems. trucks snapping in half, engine sludge/fires, vehicle rollover because wheels snapped off, steering issues, tailgates breaking off if you stand on them(as little as 200 pounds). there is much more, and plenty wrong with toyota. your attitude is the reason you are in denial. you are not very open minded, and rejecting things that hurt toyota.
