This product was even packaged greatly! It was a very simple install process, with only a few minor issues one faces when custom mounting anything not designed to be OEM. I found the spots needed to mount the ballasts and the rest fell into place. Instructions and questions/troubleshooting sheet were excellent. Nothing looks or feels cheap or skimped on. Now after about 10 days of use, satisfaction continues.

I purchased the JLM HID conversion kit H4 H/L 8000K Flex Bi-Xenon conversion kit from Quickautohouse fulfilled by Amazon on Sept. 2. I received the kit on Sept. 14 and had it professionally installed on Sept. 20. I was initially impressed with the quality of the kit. I even left feedback for the seller on how good the kit was as the light output was great. On October 13 one of the lights went out. Upon taking it back to the shop that did the install, I was told that the ballast was faulty and had shorted out. That caused the bulb to fail. I know the price was unbelievable but I kind of expected it to last at least a few months instead of less than a month. Everything was great and I usually get awesome service/products from Amazon and their affiliates but this time was very surprised that this happened. I am currently in the process of trying to exchange/return/refund this kit. Maybe it was just an anomaly that I got a defective kit. If the seller honors the warranty that is listed (1 year) and will let me exchange it for another one I’ll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out. Would have rated this experience a big fat ZERO stars if I could have.

Bought it on August, installed it on September, gone by October. One bulb had a beautiful bluish light while the other a yellowish twinkling light, although they came as a kit (iceberg blue). The bluish is dead, first the low was gone then both H/L were gone. And I barely use them since I mostly travel by day. Find other brand, this is worthless.

I purchased this kit on Amazon after deciding it was the most cost effective option. I didn’t want to get stuck spending a lot on a kit that didn’t end up working. Fortunately, it seems my fears were not well placed, this kit worked out beautifully.

The kit includes:

-2x replacement bulbs (and all the wires, connectors, etc. you should need)

-2x ballasts (to power the HID bulbs)

-2x mounting brackets (to secure the ballasts

-miscellaneous mounting accessories (zip ties, double-sided tape, etc.)

The kit was surprisingly well thought out – unlike the manual (it sounds like it was written overseas). I pulled out the all the parts and couldn’t figure out why there needed to be as much wire in the kit as there was, but it all fit together brilliantly. The only troubling part is in some cars you will have to figure out where you’re going to mount the ballast. The ballast is a necessary part of these bulbs, as it’s what ramps up the voltage to power HID bulbs – and it’s slightly larger than a pack of playing cards. So you’ll need to make sure there’s a surface you can mount to somewhere near your headlight. As long as you’re not afraid to get your fingers dirty, you should be able to install these in short order. If not, there’s always the professional installation option.

Otherwise, I’m very satisfied by the significantly increased light output and enhanced night vision I now enjoy. Don’t hesitate to buy!

Pros:

Cons:

-Not quite as straight forward as a typical bulb replacement (but not much more involved)

I just received my kid today and i installed it myself within 15 min. It was very simple and just had to simply plug and play to get it working. I installed it in my 2002 Jeep cherokee ltd. and wow does these 6000k’s look brilliant for its price. I think i would upgrade to 8000k because it is not as blue as i thought i would be but it nice and classy looking. I definitely would recommend this kit to anyone who has trouble seeing the road at night or who wan’ts to show off. i just might get the 3000k for my fog lights but lol thats just me.

I bought this lights because I was looking for the touratech xenon lights and I found out that this is the original light.

I have mounted them on my aprilia caponord and I have to say that I am not only happy I am surprised to see how good they work.

First let me start by saying that on my bike I have installed an after market bi-xenon kit for the main light but I bought the rally version with 50W bulbs and from the original bike to the xenon modification there was a huge diffrence.

I than installed the hella, and man I can say that they are superb in quality and power.

This lights are not such a tight pattern but they are sure more tight than the stock beam.

What I achieved is to have the main “wide” beam with 2 50W xenons and a some more concentrated long light (hellas) that give me a very good intense light at the center area.

I would recommend 100% this lights to all of you looking for a super powerful light that will satisfy you completely.

My only problem with them was the instructions for wiring could be upgraded a bit for graphics. For a non-electrically educated biker, better instal instructions would have sped up the install by about 3 hours.

Then, the relay switch that came with the lights was broken and I didn’t know it so I was pulling my hair out thinking it was my wiring…I had an extra relay from an old car sitting in a drawer and tried it and it worked! DONE!

Just a flook. Hella sent me a new one overnight after one phone call. Replaced it. All working.

My experience of having the lights is I can be seen easily day and night by car drivers and feel safer on teh road for it. At night I can see at least 50% farther than the stock headlight which is safer for me too.
