pop the car in N and pull over as safely as possible. Don’t just turn the car off because you’ll loose your power brakes and power steering. Not to mention the column might lock. plus I just read Toyotas with push button ignitions take up to 3.5 secs of holding the button down to actually turn the car off ( a safety feature so a simple bump wont cut the power off and cause you to crash) oops!! Good to see you back D!!!
LOL … the joke about the Toyota’s steering wheels being next … the funny thing is they did have issues with steering columns with 02 Camrys … the fixed it “under warranty” but never called a recall
Something that is being completely overlooked is THAT CHRYSLER ALSO HAS THE SAME PROBLEM that has been happening for years. I have two videos on it and was just contacted by someone in a newer Dodge RAM that accelerated full throttle on its own and crashed into a pole. Chrysler won’t even investigate the issue!
I still dont get it, can someone explain to me(a toyota owner) why if your accelerator gets stuck, you cant just PUT IT IN NEUTRAL… noone will die if they have common sence… seriously. If there is a flaw in this, someone point it out before i die(i drive fast enough anyway)

because most people are dumbasses and instead of thinking logically and solving the problem they just panic, freak out and crash!

@BOBakaTHORAXE
I agree. Put it in neutral and turn the motor off.
People are just looking to get paid by hurting themselves.
